Terms of Service

These terms are the rules for using the FadZmart app and fadzmart.com. By creating an account or using FadZmart, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use FadZmart.

What FadZmart is

FadZmart is a place where people list items and talk to each other about buying and selling them. FadZmart is not a buyer, seller, agent or payment service. Any sale is an agreement only between the buyer and the seller.

Who can use FadZmart

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
• You may only have one personal account, and you may not use someone else's.
• You may not use FadZmart if we've previously banned you.

Your account

You're responsible for everything that happens in your account. Keep your password secret and use one you don't use anywhere else. Tell us right away at support@fadzmart.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Listing items

• Only list items you own or have the right to sell, and that you actually have available.
• Describe items honestly, including their condition and any faults, and use your own photos.
• Show the real price. Don't change the deal after a buyer has agreed to it.
• Mark items as sold or remove them when they're no longer available.

Items you may not list

You may not list or offer anything illegal where you or the buyer are. This includes, for example:

• Stolen goods, or items obtained illegally.
• Drugs, including prescription medicines, and drug equipment.
• Weapons, ammunition, explosives and fireworks.
• Fake, counterfeit or copied branded goods.
• Wild animals, protected species, or products made from them, such as ivory.
• Adult or sexual content or services.
• Personal documents, IDs, or personal information about other people.
• Hazardous materials, or items that have been recalled.
• Services or items that are a scam, pyramid scheme or similar.

We may remove any listing that breaks these rules or that we think puts people at risk.

Respect other people

FadZmart has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not:

• Harass, threaten, bully or abuse anyone, or post hateful, violent, sexual or offensive content.
• Scam or mislead people, ask for payment for items that don't exist, or pretend to be someone else.
• Send spam, or use FadZmart to advertise outside businesses or services without our permission.
• Collect other users' information, or use it for anything other than a FadZmart deal.
• Try to break, overload, copy or get around the security of the app.

If you see content or behavior that breaks these rules, contact us at support@fadzmart.com. We review reports and act on them, including by removing content and banning users.

Buying and selling safely

Because FadZmart isn't part of the sale, we can't guarantee the quality, safety or legality of items, the truth of listings, or that a buyer or seller will complete a deal. To stay safe:

• Meet in a busy public place during the day, and bring someone with you if you can.
• Check the item carefully before you pay.
• Never pay in advance for an item you haven't seen, and never send money to someone you haven't met.
• Keep conversations in FadZmart chat, so there's a record.

Your content

You own the listings, photos and messages you post. By posting them, you give FadZmart permission to store, display and share them in the app and on fadzmart.com, as needed to run and promote the service. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for messages already delivered to other users. You confirm that you have the right to post everything you upload.

Suspending or closing accounts

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we're required to by law, or if your use puts other people or FadZmart at risk. You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Profile, then Privacy & Security, then Delete account.

The service is provided as it is

We work hard to keep FadZmart running well, but we provide it “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be available, secure or error-free. We may change or stop features at any time.

Limits on our responsibility

As far as the law allows, FadZmart is not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from deals between users, from what users post or do, or from not being able to use the app. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have by law that can't be removed.

Disputes and governing law

If you have a problem with another user, try to sort it out with them first. If you have a problem with FadZmart, contact us and we'll try to resolve it. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make important changes, we'll update the date at the top and tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using FadZmart after that, you accept the new terms.
